***All Inmate Visitation is Conducted by Video. All Visitors Will Be Required to Create an Account With Our Inmate Visitation Provider (HomeWAV).***

HOW TO VISIT AN INMATE ON-SITE

Create Account: Prior to your on-site visit, we recommend creating your account online or from your smart phone by following the instructions below. If you are unable to create an account from home, you can do it at the kiosk in the lobby of the Sheriff's Office.

  • Computer Users: Go to www.homewav.com to sign up. We suggest you use a Chrome or Firefox internet browser for the best user experience.
  • Mobile Users: Download the free HomeWAV mobile app via the app store. Scan QR Code or click link below. You can also or search "HomeWAV" in your app store.

VISITATION RULES

  • All visitors must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • An inmate will be allowed two people per visitation time. A minor child under the age of six will be considered a lap child and will not count as one visitor. Any remaining children regardless of age will count as one of the two visitors. 

  • Children SHALL NOT be left unattended in the lobby.

  • Food, drinks, and smoking are prohibited in the visitation area.

  • All visitors must remain properly dressed. Prohibited clothing includes: Any transparent, provocative, or revealing clothing such as low-cut tops, halter tops, and tube tops.

  • Footwear must be worn at all times.
  • A visit may be denied, suspended, or terminated if (not limited to):

    • The visitor is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

    • There is insufficient space available at the time of the visit.

    • The visitor produces insufficient/falsified identification, or refuses to present any identification.

    • The visitor's behavior is disruptive to the orderly running of the facility.

    • The visitor intentionally damages county property.

    • The visitor's attire does not conform to the dress code.

    • Safety or security of the facility is at risk (severe weather, power loss, riot, etc.)
